Peuna has a strong partnership with the Motu Koita Assembly who is tasked to identify and make good of potential opportunities that would benefit the Motu and Koitabuan communities. Peuna has existing agreements that allow us to work within the community to identify working opportunities. This is currently demonstrated at the Santos National Football Stadium by way of a service agreement to support cleaning and post event operations.

In addition, Peuna engages and contributes significantly to our local community, this forms an essential part of our social impact agendas, not just as a responsibility, but as an appreciation to local communities for supporting the development and growth of our company. 

Our local community projects include:

– A working support service agreement with MKA

– Prize donations to Baruni Rugby League for end-of-year presentations

-Meal donations to Baruni Primary School for mid and end-of-semester presentations

– Lunch delivery to Idubada Police Station on all gazetted Public Holidays

-A working MOU and capacity building agreement with Koke Hanua (Boera)

– Sponsorship and support to Morea Morea from Papa Village (Central Province), in his pursuit for a Rugby League professional career

– Sponsorship of the Vabukoroi Women’s Development Association

– Sponsorship of the Vabukoroi Volleyball Team in the Central region titles

– Sponsorship of Ms Bird of Paradise Pageant (Ms PNG)
