Steve Mullins

Steve has more than 15 years’ experience working in Papua New Guinea. He is a proven construction manager and his versatility is invaluable. While he has the practical qualifications and experience to deliver vertical and civil construction projects at the coal face, Steve also has comprehensive project management skills and an end-to-end understanding of operations as a whole. He has proven deliverability in remote and challenging PNG locations (e.g. exploration activities, accommodation camps, civil projects), but also in demanding, urban environments where detail and finish are paramount (e.g. hotels, restaurants, bars, executive apartments).

He successfully manages people (both National and Expat), materials and critical path timelines, while remaining vigilant to commercial parameters and client needs and expectations. He applies methodical site management techniques to ensure resources are applied where necessary to meet schedule timelines.

Steve Mullins is a critical member of our team. His strength in people management includes sharing his expertise to build local and national workforce capacity. His safety culture is displayed through actions – he leads by example and emphasizes safety in his training and supervision. He is a team player and works well with other staff, using his diverse on-the-ground experience to get the job done (e.g. logistics, procurement, Environment, Health and Safety). His diligence, commitment and positive demeanor are true assets to any project.
